Inner child work is a type of psychotherapy which focuses on reconnecting with and healing the inner child. The inner child is the part of us which contains our emotional wounds, needs, and desires. Inner child work helps to bring awareness to these parts of ourselves and allows us to explore, heal, and integrate them into our lives. It can help us to develop greater self-love, compassion, and understanding.
